Shell Hairband

This pattern needs testing!!
It is a quick to make hairband. This is my very first own design and found it hard to write the pattern down. Any suggestions or tips are welcome.
About 73 cm long and 5 cm wide when finished.

I used a 3,5 mm hook and some scrap yarn (cotton) for this project.

PATTERN

“band”
Start with 150 ch.
1: sc acros all 150 ch, ch 1, turn
2: sc across all 150 ch but only thru the back loop, ch 1, turn
3: sc across all 150 ch but only thru the back loop. Cut yarn. Sew in end.

For the rest of  the pattern I made  a chart:

“body”
make a new starting loop and attach it to the 45th stitch.
1: ch4, skip 2, *dc in next stitch, ch1, skip 2, (dc ch3 dc) in next stitch, ch1* repeat 8 more times, skip 2, dc in next stitch, ch1, skip 2, dc in next stitich. Turn.
2: ch4, *7 dc (=shell) in 3ch space, ch1* repeat untill last 3ch space, dc in 3th stitch from turning chain. Turn.
3: ch4, *dc in 4th dc from shell, ch1, (tr ch3 tr) in 1ch space, ch1* repeat untill last 1ch space, dc in 4th dc from shell, ch1, dc in 3th stitch from turning chain.
cut yarn, sew in end.

“finishing rows”
attach yarn 1 stitch before the first stitch of “body”, on the “band”
1: sc1 in next stitch, sc2 in next space, sc3 in next space, *sc3 in next space, sc2 in next space* repeat untill you have 2 spaces left, sc3 in next space, sc3 in next space, sc in stitch on base, slst in next stitch.
2: ch1, skip 1, sc in back loop of stitch across whole end until last of the “body”, slst in next stich. Cut yarn, weave in ends.
